Was there ever a DRACULA charm? I didn't even know there was a charm of CREATURE until I saw these on ebay.......some lucky Monster Kid won em. They must be the hardest to find. I did see the cool painted one in the gallery just now.

I have seen these guys several times....

Anybody collect these? They would make a cool Monster Kid rosary, or am I insane?!  ::)

Those have been made over many years out of the same mold, so there's a hierarchy of value.  The rubber bright ones in the bottom photo are probably the newest and most common.

There isn't a Dracula.  There is a vampire, but kind of a goofy one.

Bottom left, between Frankenstein and Kong is the Vampire.  You can see a larger painted one top row, 3rd from the right.

Sweet display Bobby!  Where are all the Creatures?

WOW! Nice! Thanks for sharing a photo of your collection. I like the wide-eyed vampire too! I may have to start looking for these.

I recently moved my charm collection to a wall-mounted display:

Most of the creature charms I have are in the top row, second cubicle from the left.  They seem to be some of the harder ones to find.

Wow, you guys amaze me. Is there anything monster related that you don't have?? ::)

Gosh, I hope not ;D

BK~  I have a couple Creatures since that photo was taken, but still need more.  There is one large Creature on the top row.

I love seeing this stuff in other people's collections, but I don't see myself taking the time and trouble to build my own monster charms collection.  I am just not charming enough!  Maybe someday I will buy out someone else's charm collection.  Then I will instantly be loaded with charm!  Until that day, I will be woefully lacking in charm.

And be totally humble!

The charms are great.  I like to see everybody's collections, too.  So many things to collect, so little room, so little money.

When I was a kid, I would root through the alleys and such, collecting bottles to cash in at the corner market so that I could get change for the machines.  Some of my favorite toys from childhood came from a vending machine, so collecting these charms and rubber jigglers is a really important part of my collection.

Wow. What a charmed life you live Andy.

Seriously, that is one heck of a charm collection! Impressive!

Thanks Bobby, I didn't recognize him at first with his Slicked Back, jet black hair.   :D

We were pretty poor when I was a kid.  Most new toys from the store came from my grandparents (unless I was hustling soda bottles for vending toys).  They bought me my Megos and AHI monsters.  I got a lot of hand-me-down 60's toys from my older uncles, which turned out to be a good thing looking back on it.  Mid-70's and I was playing with Colorforms Outer Spacemen, Megos, AHIs and reading 60's monster magazines and comics.  So, I guess it was kinda charmed.  Those were the days!

Lovin that wall mount display of the charms and small plastic monstrosities. Very colorful. Thinking about displaying my Palmers, MPC ghouls, etc..in a wall mount setting. Great collection and story! Thanks for sharing!!!!

I recall pouring what seemed like a fortune in dimes (or was it nickels) into a gum machine, lusting after a Phantom of the Opera flasher ring on display. With each turn of the crank, my hopes were dashed as a "girly ring" would pop out! I finally gave up the ghost...
