REALLY love your Hammer sets. Let me know when you're ready to sell them, ok?
Something comes to mind about "having to pry them from my cold dead hands". Capiche?  ;D

Here is the very cool Funny Travel Poster #13 from the collection of Freddie Poe:

It was part of a 24 poster set issued by Topps in 1967 although it's possible that the set was again reissued in the seventies. Each poster is 9 3/4" X 18 1/2" with artwork that appears to be by Wally Wood.

Sold a bunch of used books the other day. I took home some cash, but used some of the loot for credit toward this Eclipse King Kong trading card set. I think it's from 1990s. Actually three full sets in this binder.

The Topps You'll Die Laughing card set was released before Halloween in 1959. Here are scans of a couple of the most Halloweeny cards from the set:

Monsters For Sale

I acquired this little Frankenstein / Donald Duck Menkco Card.  It is 1¾" x 2¾" and the seller said it is from the 1950's.

These two 2 7/8" x 3 7/8" MONTRUOSOS packs look like regular trading card wax packs, but the paper is thin (and un-waxed) and the Spanish writing that can be seen through the outer wrapping seems to indicate that these are stickers.  They also indicate that some packs contain two stickers so you can share one with a lucky friend.  I think they were made in Mexico, but have no idea what year they were produced.

Pack 2 - Back

I have no idea what the stickers look like.  Both packs are firmly sealed.  Since these are the only examples of these packs I have ever seen, I am reluctant to rip one open.

Both packs are shown here because there may be other members who have never seen them before.  If any of you have examples of the stickers, please share them with us.

I think this is it. From the MONSTERWAX website:

Monstruosos Regalos (Company uncertain, made in Murcia (Spain), circa early 1990s). Not much to report yet on this series, I've only seen the paper thin album (pic 1) and interior bluelined images of 28 stickers (pic 2), which appear to be recycled art from Monstrous Diabolicos). The date mentions a promotion that ends in 1993, and number of stickers is 28 plus an unpictured 29th. The title translates into Monstrous Gifts. Retail uncertain.

I don't know.

The sticker art looks a lot different from the individual pack art.  The packs have a classic Frankenstein image and the  stickers don't have any cartoons in the same classic style.

Why are Spook Stories set 2 so hard to find? Did they not make as many as set 1?

Anybody got any extra set 2 Creature cards you want to sell?

That's my guess. Leaf knew that kids had a limited attention span and not as many would collect series 2. I only collected series 2 myself as a kid.
