Although I don't love it, I did enjoy Interview With The Vampire, which I know is generally loathed in these parts (There, I said it!)

i have a fondness for these movies:
Schlock
Brotherhood of the wolf
Schtonk!
Halloween lll
Soldier
Waxworks
The Warrior
The list goes on and on and yes I also love the 13th warrior it is a great film..
Shlock.  Wonder why it's never been on DVD?  I remember seeing it in the 70's at sci-fi conventions.   One of them had John Landis talking about the film.  He said, when he was amking the movie, he was going (excitedly) "This is Bad!  This is Bad!"  He said, however as he watched the film he kept going (depressed) "This is bad.  This is bad."  But like "Cannibal the Musical", by Trey Parker, it was a wonderful first time effort by a film maker.

Also, count me in as a fan of "Halloween 3".  I came to the Pacific Theatre to see it on it's first run, and really liked it even then.  Iactually liked the fact that they were planning to continue the series, without Michael Myers, since his story was concluded with Halloween Part 2".  That continuing the Michael Myers character was a mistake, can be seen by the later "Halloween" films, which became less and less watchable as the series "progressed".

Are you thinking of Continental Divide, costarring Blair Brown?

Yes- that's exactly it, Fester.

I loved Brotherhood of the Wolf when I saw it, and was quite surprised by it!

I really loved Halloween III alot too.  Not only did it bend rules at the time by horrible things actually happen to children, almost every Halloween I have that theme song going through my head....

I saw somebody else here mention Connery's Zardoz.  That movie was frickin' awesome.  ;D

I'm really not in tune with what the general public thinks about alot of the weird little movies I like, but I do know I heard alot of backlash about Corky Romano.  I thought it was cute. 0-o

Also, I haven't heard anybody comment or talk about Cabin Fever 2 (the sequel).  I didn't really like the first one at all, too uneven and felt it really missed some good opprotunites, but I LOVED the second weird one.  Totally gross and totally unexpectedly funny.  Loved it.
Never watched the second, but I loved the first

Jumanji
Jumanji seemed to be popular enough to have a spinoff cartoon series.  I know I kind of liked it.  What I don't know is anybody who hated it.

I hear there's a Jumanji reboot in the works. Or prequel/sequel.

I read the book "Neighbors" before seeing the movie, which turned out to be a mistake. The book is great, whereas the movie was turned into a screwball comedy. It's actually a decent screwball comedy, though. But it bombed so badly, and critics ragged on it so heavily, it's believed that the failure of "Neighbors" heavily contributed to John Belushi's downward spiral and eventual overdose. At the time of his death, he was working on a script titled "Noble Rot," a comedy set in the California wine industry, and the studio was heavily interfering with the screenplay, complaining "We don't want another 'Neighbors!'"

I really liked this film. I have to tried to locate the movie on DVD, no luck.

Movies I love, that everyone seems to hate? Most of my monster & imagi-movies. Present company excepted, plus an isolated friend or two.
