"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Flotsam Bay

Yep, got it for $9.00! I'm guessing the damage scared everybody else off. As you can see in the photos, it still displays nicely with some wear at the neck and a couple other small spots when viewed face on. I bought him for myself, thinking that I might try to repair him at some point. But now that I know that he's a bit more valuable than I first realized, I'm not going to touch him!

I'm now thinking that I might sell him. It's something really cool that I got really lucky in finding, but it's not something I have a real passion for. I buy the old toys and stuff for fun, my passion is vintage audio equipment. Letting someone else have the pleasure of owning him might allow me the pleasure of finally repairing my old Fisher Tube amp for my den (it's a Den, not a man cave!)

Oooh, it's going to be difficult though. He's looking down at me as I type this, quietly shaking his head. I had put him up on top of my bookshelf between the complete Far Side box set and the Big Big Book of Buck Rogers to keep him safe. He seems very comfortable there!

Good stuff! I like vintage audio equipment, particularly turntables.

Monsters For Sale

I missed out on a Blue Mold-A-Rama Frankenstein recently.  The darned thing went for over $200.00.

A badly-listed Pink Mold-A-Rama Frankenstein popped up on eBay so I took a shot at it.  I got it for $46.00 - more to my liking.

Here he is, hanging out with his brothers:

(Click on picture for full-sized image.)

All of the figures say "FRANKENSTEIN" on the base front in incised letters.

The Blue and Yellow figures' base backs say:  "© UNIVERSAL
PICTURES CO., INC."  in incised letters.

The Pink and the Red figures' base backs say: "© UNIVERSAL
                                                                    PICTURES CO."  in incised letters.

The Green figure's base back says:                "UNIVERSAL STUDIOS"  in raised letters.

The Black figure's base back is blank.  It was produced after the official Universal Park run, by a Mold-A-Rama machine owner as part of a VERY limited test run.  Except for the color and the fact that the back of the base is blank, it is identical to the others.

Any members have other variations on their Moldy Franks?

I knew my snipe wasn't enough to win that guy, but I had spent too much on monster toys already this week (glenn strange bucket finally joined the ranks!)  and hoped that the listing was hidden well enough I might just get lucky.....darn it. And Actually it wouldnt have mattered I was outbid by $1 from someone else and you ended up winning it.
If I couldn't win it im very  glad it went to you. In my opinion He went to the best home possible,  He looks great with his rainbow brothers. Excellent buy!
Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

Was the blue one you missed out on getting a different shade of blue than the one you already have?

An estate sale sealed Frankenstein's Flivver for ...... $25!!  I freaked when I saw it ...

That's a sensational find for $25! That kit would fetch between $500 and $1000 at auction.
