Nice!  I think, I own more Ben Cooper than Collegeville. But I am always trolling on eBAY.  I'm still looking for a Ben Cooper ALIEN costume.

Yeah those Giger Alien costumes usually go for quite a bit.

I just saw the costume without a mask for sale on ebay at a decent price. Check it out, this would complete your set. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALIEN-Ben-Cooper-1978-Halloween-COSTUME-H-R-GIGER-Rare-/170704897088?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27bece0440

Oh, btw!  I bought a  rare Metaluna Collegeville costume a year ago, without a mask.  Same situation as the Alien costume. I had the mask, then I found the costume and box on eBAY. But, the weird thing is, I had the complete Metaluna costume previous to that. Not knowing the rarity, I had traded the Metaulna(Collegeville) for something, I can not remember what I traded. Lol. I did regret it though.

Here is my Collegeville costume and mask collection and my NEW Collegeville Headquarters sign I just got in today.

How old is the sign? How did you acquire it?

Are Collegeville and Ben Cooper like the DC and Marvel of Halloween costumes? How would you compare the two companies and their product lines?

???

The sign was used in the late 60's through the early 80's. I bought it with some costumes on line. The Frankenstein and witch costume, that are spooky spooks are from the mid 80's

Well Collegeville and Ben Cooper costumes are both of similar quality, they were both very popular, and sometimes you will see one having the same exact mask as the other with just a different paint job. Other Halloween costumes were made by Halco, and even Sears.

I love the ones that POP in a black light, it so reminds me of the eighties.
