I just can't figure out if it's a gypsy or some kind of fortune teller/witch costume and it's been bugging me.  Anyway, I figure there's enough costume expertise around here to help me solve the mystery and look around for one someday.

I tracked down the cool picture Charp13 posted way back in 2011 elsewhere on the web. Here it is:

Quote from: sandman78 on October 05, 2011, 09:36:35 PMThe mask you have shown here is a witch mask from the early 70's originally it was a Halloween giveaway mask by Zest soap, but it was made by Ben Cooper masks, looks just  like the one in your picture.

Here are pictures of the Zest mask that Sandman78 identified:

The shawl part of Charp's outfit may be from another Halloween costume but I can't identify it at the moment. Anyone recognize it?

Indeed! Those earrings sport the exact same logo that Batman was using in the early 1970's. Here's the issue of Batman that hit newsstands in January 1971:

I guess DC failed to notice that detail.

Worse yet high on the witch's forehead I see my own likeness used without my permission. I'm going to sue!
