You'd have to quiz the Gorilla himself about that Mike.............but I agree it's awesome!

What size if that one? Is it on paper or canvas?

Unknown Primate

Mike - That sucks about the envelope getting wet - I almost put them in plastic sleeves!  Also, for Scatter's picture,  which is bigger than most of my stuff, I used plain ol' Sharpies and some colored pencils - maybe someday, I'll be brave enough to pick up a brush!  ;)
Gary - I STILL have more stuff to send ya - just waiting on another wrestling pic!

I also received an envelope full of FANTASTIC UP artwork today! They look so great in person, the colors are DYNAMIC! They will all be going up in the Monster Room!
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Moonshadow

Wow -did I have an incredible surprise waiting on my doorstep when I got home today! Check this out:

Not one, not two, but SEVEN Mark Stamper masterworks! Unbelievable! Sure , 4 were for my hubby, but I get to look at them too! Not only did I get a magnificent sasquatch drawing but two Frankensteins as well -and one was Mark's interpretation of a scene from my book. Wow. I am so tickled. Many many thanks to our Unknown Primate! These are definitely getting put up in the inner sanctum!

Dr. Madd

First.. I love that Frankenstein, and tomorrow afternoon I'll post some pics of my Mark Stamper masterpieces as Well.

Moonshadow, would you mind posting better shots of the two Frankesnteins? Those look incredible!! Thanks!

Illoman

Okay, here's my latest. I think this is an unusual shot of the monster. It honestly was a tough one to capture. Oils on canvas board.

Oh Mike -that's a beautiful portrait of the Monster. I just love Karloff's face - I never get tired of seeing him, whether as the Monster or another role. You really capture him well.

I love The Frankensteins, UP, and  Yours, too, Iloman. Awesome.. Something that has come to mean a lot to me since joining UMA is the sheer number of talented artists in a number of fields that I am proud as heck to be part of.

Dr Madd, thanks for the compliments. I enjoy seeing your work as well. I would like to try sculpting again but just don't have the time.

Illoman

Moonshadow, thanks for the compliment, and for posting UP's awesome Frankies!! UP those are AWESOME!!! You really took your personal vision of the monster and represented it very effectively. *Love* those!!

RICKH

Mike, I love the cool color palette that you used for the painting. The painting is awesome!
Mark, those drawings are fantastic.  The Frankenstein and Black Adam pieces are off the hook!
