Killer rendition, Mike! Plain to see SRV is a huge inspiration for you ...absolutely beautiful!!

Thanks. I was hoping you of all people would get to see this!  ;)

Thanks, RedKing. It's an obvious color choice with him, but sometimes hard to control. I tried to keep it as monochromatic as possible.

Rainer, very nice, clean ink lines. I like how you balanced the thick black line with the thin. Great work!

Illoman says it succinctly! Nice work, Rainer.

Here's another portrait that's a Christmas gift, probably my last painting for this year. It's a smaller one, 11"x14", oils on canvas board.

This is just the second time I've painted Andy Griffith. He has an interesting face to paint.

Mike, I just got caught up on your gallery of masterpieces. And I feel the same way UP does- GASP! Your paintings bring us all so much joy and I'm sure everyone feels the same way when you post a new photo- pure happiness! Your talent amazes me and I am even more in awe of your magical abilities, since I saw your Tinkerbell painting! She is simply fantastic!  :)

Dr. Madd

It has come to my attention that many of my pieces are no longer visible on here.. So here goes a few.

I can PM the rest to anyone who wants to see them. On a side note, My Ghoul sculpture is off the selling block, and on his gruesome way to a new home.

Thanks, Charpie, for all the kind things you said. I really appreciate it. Part of the fun of painting is to share with my monster buddies!!  ;D

How would this look as a 7 or 8 foot poster?
