It seems tv is the same as movies. They are out of ideas and try rebooting old shows. Two of them on now is Hawaii 5 0 and The Defenders. Now they are out to ruin my favortie comedy of all time The Munsters. The Munsters Today was horrible and now it seems they want to try again. If the chemestry between the actors isn't there, it isn't going to work. Al Lewis and Fred  Gwynne were friends and it came out in the acting. It is being done by Bryan Fuller and says it will be a mixture of Modern Family and True Blood. I don't watch either show so that tells me what I need to know. Someone needs to tell them leave our classics alone.

As if the "The Munsters Today" wasn't bad enough!

BTW - I heard NBC only ordered a pilot. Maybe they'll cast Brad Garett as Herman?

Well, NBC does own Universal, and why not exploit your assets

That's what sux about remakes, tv or movies, in many cases. The Munsters, Addams Family, Dark Shadows, to name a few. They succeeded due to a near perfect chemistry of actors, writers, composers, etc coming together at the right place & time.

If I get that, why doesn't Hollywood? Yes, prepare for a Munsters suck fest.

Why even remake the MUNSTERS?  Ok...that was rhetorical.
Once again, HOLLYWOOD is bored and wants to capitalize on a Great franchise.
