Cuz (vpdogjoe) has been on a little trip with her husband, and gets back today.  I'll be glad to see her back, and hope they had a good time.  I called her dad a couple times yesterday to make sure he was doing ok (he's 88), and was sure happy that he was.  We talked for quite a while and he seemed to enjoy that.  Last night I watched more ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS--one episode was LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER, which is a fave (wife kills husband with frozen leg of lamb...).

That's the episode with Barbara Bel Geddes.  I love her snickering at the end!
Do you have that series on DVD?  Or do you watch it on RTN?

Yeah, Robert, Lamb To Slaughter is my mom's all time fave Hitchcock episode. I remember it well, myself. What series of DVD's is that one on??

Doing yard work when it is 115 degrees, is not fun.  >:( Getting ready to jump in the pool then go to Carlsbad Tavern for a nice Sunday Meal.  :)

AARGH!  I looked at your profile and I see you are from Tempe.  Jeez you must be brave to do that.  Just reading that makes me sweat!

Now don't think I'm being cheeky because it's really an honest question.  I'm from Michigan.  With a bit of luck and a green thumb and some rain we have nice green lawns.  I drove through AZ once and I only remember the desert.  What kind of lawns and landscaping do you have?  I know those big cactuses (cactai?) are a big no and you have to have permits to own them.Maybe you can send a pic of your house and yard?  I would love to see it.  Thank you ahead of time.

Yesterday, I cleaned our bedroom carpeting.  It hadn't been done for awhile.  Looks a lot better.  For some odd reason, that's a task that I never mind to do.

Jordan LOVED it!! He was creeping around, and naturally I had to goose him a few times to see him jump LOL!! No ghosts sighted, but a good time had by all.
We're all here because we're not all there.

HHwolfman,
What a beautiful picture!  I pictured it more like a house on the desert.  Is the outside of you house stucco?  I lived in CA for 2 years.  The palms always bring back pleasant memeories.

Not fun today.  I went to the dentist and got a tooth filled.  I also had impression done for a bite splint.  I grind my teeth at nigh.  Beware, don't come to my house on the night of a full moon.

Dr.Teufel Geist

Crime hits close to home, I learned today that our next door neighbor's house was broken into this afternoon.
Which is kinda bothersome, since we're gone on Wed. for church, however if the thugs hit us any otherday, would be okay.
I have a shotgun and I wouldn't hesitate to use it, I may not kill them, but I would definitely maim them. ;D

ChattyLMS

Oh no, Dr. G!
That's awful.  While you're gone, turn your TV on really loud and have the lights on.  Anything to make you're house look like somebody's there.  Good luck and be careful with that shotgun.
