Picked up this Dark Purple 2" Palmer Frankenstein.  Never seen this color before.

That was fun to find.

But I was really happy to finally find a really rare WHITE Palmer.

Yeah.  I know it is not the same as finding a 3" White Palmer Frankenstein - But the seem to be equally rare.

(I'm still looking for my 3" Frankenstein White...  I know it's out there somewhere.)

I have had those weird color Palmers in the bag with header (I used to sell them in Toy Shop), repacks from a different company than Palmer(in Wisconsin, I think). I only have one or two left now. They came with a dart gun and darts included. I believe they were 60s , but mid-to-later 60s. The cards had very primitive 'kid' graphics on them.

One of the two kinds pictured here?

I bought a tan Palmer Creature from an eBay seller (also called "butterscotch" by some).

I knew the tan and white Palmers are scarce so I'm always on the lookout for them. The listing pics made the figure look rough, like it was scuffed up, but upon inspecting it in person it just has a very small nick on the chest. Otherwise, it just has normal markings from the molding process and looks good in person. Even though it looked rough in the listing I couldn't pass it up for $20. I had never even seen a tan one offered for sale after several years of hunting and saved eBay searches.

Here's a pic showing a tan Kong in the dart gun bag.

Oooh!  DAMNED rare!  Nice catch.

I'm still looking for a white Frankenstein.

I'd like to find a white Palmer (any) as well, but I probably used up my luck on the tan one. I'm glad it's a Creature because I'll probably never find another tan one.

I'm surprised nobody else bid on this. I guess knowledge of these color variations is getting nearly as scarce as the tan and white Palmers. If I were to sell this thing I certainly wouldn't put it in an eBay auction with a $20 minimum bid. That's just giving it away.
