A Shot in the Dark (1964) - Trailer

A murder mystery and a screwball comedy rolled into one!

Charade (1963) - Trailer

Nothing much wrong with the movie that the absence of Cary Grant wouldn't cure.

The Jerk Theory (2009) - Trailer

The tired traditional plot.

LAWRENCE OF ARABIA (1962) - Hadn't seen this completely since my parents took me to it first run in 1962.  At 7, it was a bit over my head, but some imagery and that beautiful score by Maurice Jarre remained in the back of my mind.  It deserves all the praise it gets. Possibly the best cinematography I've ever seen and Peter O'Toole was superb.

W. C. Fields in:

MILLION DOLLAR LEGS (1932)
IF I HADE A MILLION (1932)
MISSISSIPPI (1935)
THE BIG BROADCAST OF 1938 (1938)

I had all of his best movies in those two 5 disc sets (10 films), but I wanted to see those other features, too, so when I saw this 5 disc set of all 18 movies for $20 (or was it $30?), I bought it. Still have TILLIE AND GUS, SIX OF A KIND and MRS. WIGGS to watch. (I have a separate CD of ALICE IN WONDERLAND.)

The Godfather Coda (1990/2020)

I have a soft spot for Godfather III. It's not as bad as most critics say. Is it as good GF or GF II? Of course not. Not even close. But it's a better than average gangster film that doesn't deserve the scorn it gets from critics. Just my view. In terms of "Coda," it's basically 90% the same thing as GFIII. Coppola rearranged some pivotal scenes, shaved off a few minutes, and added some minor details not in the original. Still, I think Coda is an improvement over the original version.

I don't think Disney and Russ Meyer mix well. ;D
