MonsterArt

Monster Artist, animator and screenwriter. Sometimes an actor, but only if Larry Blamire is making a movie!

Gasport

Full time musician. Writer, producer on occasion. Aspiring porno star, but i think that ship has sailed... Mainly teaching guitar privately at the moment. Worked on some original media related music projects with my bro over the years that miraculously culminated with our work being heard on some of my favorite shows like Ren & Stimpy, South Park, the Simpsons, along with some of my not so faves like Martha Stewart and Oprah [go figure]. My proudest achievement to date has been recording not one , but TWO full length CD's with my all time favorite childhood idol [and sweetest person on the planet] John Zacherle, Whom as a result, has become an extended part of my family for over 20 years now.

GAKENSTEIN

Wow! Some real interesting people here. I'm just a blue collar working schmoe. I'm the central region distribution shipping supervisor for Makita power tools. With the housing industry down so is our business. So if you have any bodies you need to take care of I can cut you (no pun intended) a good deal on chainsaws and power cutters.  ;)

(Folks, if you haven't heard Mike's ZACH work - do! TOP shelf.)

Youse guys who are acting starry-eyed about those of us toiling in the arts, or downplaying your "prosaic" jobs - stop it! The world needs it all - the garbage man every bit as much as the portrait painter. And I've poured iron in a GM Foundry, filpped burgs at a Burger Chef, and manned the counter in a Pawnshop.

Hey listen, most of what I do with Halloween and animatronics work REQUIRES power tools, and I have plenty of Makita, Dremel and B&D items to prove it! If you don't do your job right, most of the working world can't do theirs!
I want to hear from more UMA soldiers who are in the trenches with real meat and potatoes jobs like this... enough of us mamby pamby artsy types!  ;)

Nah, he did say retired... which means it's cool, he'll take some graft and probably help us keep the rookie cops off our backs!

My brother is a cop and my dad is a retired cop.  I have a cousin who is a cop.  So it is a wonder I didn't become a cop.
