Dear Brother, MIKE,
... Yes, most insightful, of you: I am related, to HENRY DAVID THOROUGH!
... He spat, oft, into WALDEN POND! Recent technology, which, uses highly-sophisticated DNA tracing, proves, that, his spittle aided the evolution, of a commonly indigenous form, of pond scum, developing it, into the superior strain, of SCUM, which writes, to you, now!
... And, if this SCUM-BUCKET keeps you laughing... Then, choose EVERNOW!
.. As for the fact, that, I existed, many centuries, prior, to H.D. THOROUGH, should impose no serious obstacle... take it, on Faith, as a 'Mystery' .
... I.E.: "The Child is the Father, to the Man."
... ERGO: "The WEREWOLF is The Progenitor, of The Pond-Scum."
... Ahhhh, I love a solid Scientic explantion, if you catch my Continental Drift!

A slew of ungodly puns worthy of Forry himself! Well done, good Baron!

Dear Brother, MIKE C.,
... Be it as it may, 4:23 AM, and, this is neither, lie, nor, lye:
... I am, still, in the still, of the night, lying, out, by the still, wishing, that, I was, still, lying still, in slumber...
... Now, where was I? Oh, yes! I am most honoured, by your fine insights and perceptions!
... In Gratitude, for your spontaneous, unsolicited, remark, linking my brain's ability, to spew, forth, such relevant data, as wouldst our Beloved UNCLE FORRY, I've evaluated your NET WORTH, and, decided, to issue you a check, for a generous $27,000,000,000,000,000,000 ... or, your worth, without the NET, a check, of $.45, {WOW! That's $.20, more, than my estimated value! A NET is worth a lot... especially, ANNETTE FUNICELLO! Hubba, Hubba!  ::)}
... I promise,. that, you shall find said check, in your mailbox, TOMORROW!
... Or course: "Tomorrow never comes." So, don't hold your breath! ;)

Quite impressive- we need Forry in a Hall of Monsters ,similar to the hall of presidents.

He would stand up ,do a few wonderfully bad puns, and then each creation would get up for their bit.

The work is incredible .

Thanks guys!
Well, a new granddaughter (as of last Thursday) has of course been the big priority (I love my monsters but she's WAY cuter than any of that!) so other than late night scouring the boards online, I haven't had time to work on the final figure other than collecting audio.  I'll definitely keep everyone posted though, and I know I'll need suggestions and help in getting him as authentically Forry as possible (well, other than being a skeletal fantasy version!)...

Much thanks, Scatter and Baron! Yep, another li'l monster to enjoy (and yes, to sometimes smell, Timotheus!) and to indoctrinate, as I have all the children in my family, into the realm of monster fandom!
Actually she wasn't so "li'l"... 8 lb 11 oz and 22" is not so little as babies go!

The Drunken Severed Head

When the Disney Imagineers built the first animatronic figure--Abe Lincoln in the Disneyland Hall of Presidents, he went nuts and smashed a chair he had risen from.

So be careful when you give False Forry  the rest of his body!

"False Forry" is surely the name FJA would choose for a robot version of himself, given his love of False Maria (the robotrix) from METROPOLIS!

(BTW, can you build a robot body for a *living* severed head?)

ChrisW

Congrats on the granddaughter Mike - is this your first?

The Drunken Severed Head

Can we be sure she's a REAL granddaughter, or did you build her, too? (Shades of Ray Bradbury and his Electric Grandmother!)

(All kidding aside--My kongdraculations, too!)

Hahaha, thanks Max!
Ah, I Sing The Body Electric, one of my favorite Bradbury tales... and no, Chris, she is my second. The first is going to be 4 at the end of June. They're both 'step' granddaughters (I am 'only' 40!), my wife's grandkids, but I am the father figure in their lives and very much in love with them (some of you know the feeling)... it's great, wind 'em up and send them home with their folks, hahaha!
By the way Max, I am indeed trying to figure out how to fashion a body for you; this project is merely a kind of ramp up to it. I'll let you know when I've got it right.
You did want super strength and wings, right?
