Hahaha, thanks Max! Ah, I Sing The Body Electric, one of my favorite Bradbury tales
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... I tried a BODY ELECTRIC... but, they couldn't get the voltage right; plus, I sang "BRADBURY"... They misheard, and, gave me RASPBERRIES!
... So, I punched them out!
... So, I eschewed that outfit, in favour, of the more Traditional LUGOSI DRACULA "Swallow-Tails" Tux & Cape! Got it "slightly used"... 'twas the one, in which, BRAD was BURIED! Not, certain, of BRAD'S last name... but, it was retrieved, from a PIT.
````````````````````````````````````````````````````
... and no, Chris, she is my second.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... Your SECOND?! Eegads, MIKE, isn't she a wee bit, too young, for DUELING?
... What?! After you're beaten, she'll lob her sludgy flame-soiled diapers, at your dueling opponent?
... Those butt-bombs must be powerful, if that's your game plan! Oh, the Humanity!

... Or, by "my second" do you mean, "DUALING"; by such inference, implying, that, she is your CLONE? A new & improved, YOU, save, that, she is one, who is, more, in touch, with her "feminine side"?
... Some other Gent tried this, before you, and, made a Fortune, from it... Remember that '60's TV Show "DUALING FOR DOLLARS"? The Theme Song was "SEND IN THE CLONES".
````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
The first is going to be 4 at the end of June.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... Ahhh! a momentous occasion! "The first", meaning, "One", becoming "Four"!
... I remember, when I first "Split", into 4 separate Beings... Then, a few years, later, those 4 "Split", again, becoming 16 uniquely individual and independent beings! This genetic disorder keeps happening, until now... Heck... I'm, most, of the Members, of the UNIVERSAL MONSTER ARMY, unbeknownst, to them, until this confession!
... Another novel turn, of affairs, is that, some of my "Splits" have gone, on, to attain Greater Office! Why, "I" have, just, been elected, to be PRESIDENT Of THE UNITED STATES... just as  "I" am leaving that same Office, after serving 2 elected terms, there!
... That's why "I" won't discuss Politics, because, "I" was also, THE BEATLES!
... and, "at the end, of JUNE"! Assuming, that, you are referring, to The Month, &, not, some Lady, named JUNE... Better buy, your MONSTER BASH TICKETS, now, so, that, if she "Splits", before THE BASH, you can get 'em, in, on the one ticketprice!
... If she "Splits", during, RON can use it, as a "LIVE EVENT", and, then, they can, all, hold a "Question & Answer" session, at the end, of it, to explain what it was like.
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

They're both 'step' granddaughters
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... So, your Missus is, one, of "THE Original STEP-FORD WIVES"?!
... I had one, who wasn't "Original"... Howe'er, she was "EXTRA-CRISPY" ;)!
... Problem, with that: I kept finding her crumbs, in bed! Some of those crumbs, were real crumbs... other guys! >:(  :'(
`````````````````````````````````````````````
 (I am 'only' 40!),
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... Do you remember the Names & identities, of, all, 40, of you?
... Or, do you all "Hang together", like, ALI BABA & THE 40 THIEVES?
```````````````````````````````````````````````````

my wife's grandkids, but I am the father figure in their lives and very much in love with them (some of you know the feeling)... it's great, wind 'em up and send them home with their folks, hahaha!
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... And, a GRAND FATHER FIGURE you must be!
````````````````````````````````````````
By the way Max, I am indeed trying to figure out how to fashion a body for you; this project is merely a kind of ramp up to it. I'll let you know when I've got it right.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... I liked MAX'S body, better, when he was a Beautiful Woman! Can we find that olde photo & post it... or, does it break too many Obscenity Laws?!
`````````````````````````````````````````````

... You did want:
A} super strength and wings, right?
B} BEER & WINGS, AT HOOTERS, and, THE GIRL, TO YOUR LEFT, RIGHT?!

I'll work on it. Flaming fingers is a lifelong obsession for most animatronic designers (something the Disney guys will NEVER let on about) so the odds are good.
I did get flaming toes once but that was years ago, and a little tough-actin' Tinactin cleared it right up.

An update to this old thread... I have been working on the final Uncle Forry figure over the last few weeks, and have been posting my progress at the Skull & Pumpkin (see my signature)... but I remembered promising to show some updates here too, and thought this was a good, if brief, taste of how my little tribute to Forry is coming along.

Now I need an aloha shirt, a Drac ring, a cape, white slacks...  ;D
Actually, I need to add hair, trim his Brezhnev-like eyebrows, get some good Forry eyeglass frames, and get to work programming more Hallowe'enish audio for him.

Again, if anyone has him saying Happy Halloween or similar, do let me know.

Thanks for the kind words, guys!

I have posted a longer test on my blog (see my signature, click and enjoy some Hallowe'en fun) today, if you want to see the full tale of Uncle Forry suddenly thinking of 'sci-fi'.

I say test because yes, I'm still working out stuff, and realistic programming takes quite a bit longer than the runs I've done so far. Linkages have to be adjusted, sometimes rebuilt, in order to get smooth movement, etc..

At any rate, I appreciate you letting me resurrect an old thread, letting me 'show off' in here, and much more than that, I know we all loved/continue to love Uncle Forry so much that it just feels right to express our tributes here at the UMA. I mean really... where BETTER than here?

Mike C.

EDIT: Speaking of those glasses... I am trying to find THOSE frames. Does anyone know where he got his glasses? I'm searching through the cheaper online places like Zenni Optical and even Walmart's online frames site, but so far I haven't found anything close enough. I humbly ask your assistance!

Great stuff, Mike.  I'd say ask Joe Moe.  He might be able to help.

I'll try to do that, TR, thank you. I considered it some time ago but thought it would just seem like a weird crazy fan question rather than a well-intended tribute. I was afraid the guy's got other things to do than field obscure personal questions about such a dear friend of his. But I will try him, thanks for the suggestion.
