But Tiny Tim's act was never meant to be anything but a silly novelty.

Nimoy and The Shat really thought they were serious performers.
Not sure about Mrs Miller--she always sounded like she backed into the barbecue. ::)

Some real singers got well out of their depths.

Andy Griffith-The House of the rising Sun

Bing Crosby - Hey Jude

Still not sure why this one happened--except it happened in Paint Your Wagon.
Clint Eastwood. "I Talk To the Trees"
(Even Lee Marvin "sang" in that one . . . :P)
Lee Marvin - Wandering Star

Fester, I think I'm now hearing impaired -- hopefully.

I understand that Lee Marvin "singing" "I was Born Under A Wandering Star" (From Paint Your Wagon"), became a novelty hit in England.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Back in 1970.  For three weeks, Wanderin' Star was number one on the Irish and UK pop charts.  At the same time, the Beatles' Let it Be was number two. 8)

Bing Crosby - Hey Jude

At last, a song by Crosby I don't like.  I think his "Pum pum pums" toward the conclusion really add to the listening experience.

Just today I opened a fortune cookie, with a simple message on it.  "You are not illiterate." I was so relieved when I read that.

Another Jack Davis Dracula classic (I used to have one of these LPs). But my Davis favorite is the "You'll Die Laughing" card set, the first monster card set.
