why hello there lady Contessa. Welcome to the group. ;)
It's all about the Horror.

Well, this is unexpected.

I had no idea this site existed until last night, and now here I am.  The screen name I'm using here is one I've adopted pretty much everywhere else on the internet, including Twitter, YouTube, and a few other forums.  My real name is Michael, but given how many Michaels there are running around in the world right now, it's probably less confusing to go by the totally-not-dorky screen name.

I've been a fan of monsters pretty much as long as I can remember, starting with Godzilla and all the other Toho monsters.  Since then, I've developed a love for monsters of all kinds, including, of course, the ones made famous by Lugosi, Karloff, and Chaney.  Of the classic Universal monsters, The Wolf Man would have to be my favorite.  Werewolves have a special place in my heart, probably because the wolf is my favorite animal, and the original film is one of my all-time favorites.  Funnily enough, the number one spot is held by another film most of you are likely familiar with.

So there's my quick introduction.  Cheers.
I can assure you this signature is not the least bit amusing.

Cheers back at ya, Michael!  Great taste in werewolf flicks!

Welcome Micahel!  Glad that you fianlly found us.  Feel free to share more if you'd like.  Do have a collection and/or monster room?  We have threads where people can show off what they have.  All of the films and genres you mentioned are represented.  The UMA is a fun place.

Hey, I'm "Vintage Halloween Toys" and totally dig Universal Monsters, horror movies, and of course old school Halloween stuff! My real name is Tim Malik, and I'm the owner/operator of a website called Vintage Halloween Toys at http://www.vintagehalloweentoys.com

I'm an artist, and sometimes actor, writer, and filmmaker who is passionate about all things horror and Halloween. I've spent many hours looking through a bunch of the posts on the Universal Monster Army website, and this looks like a ghoulishly groovy place to meet some new fiends!

I bid you welcome! Enter freely and of your own will! Come freely. Go safely; and leave something of the happiness you bring! I enjoyed looking at some of the vintage Halloween noise makers on your blog.

Thanks Unknown Primate! I'm a huge fan of all things monsters, and I'm looking forward to posting a bunch of cool pictures of my finds (once I learn how to post pictures here), and checking out all the other Universal Monster Army's collections as well and meeting some new fiends! If you have any pointers on getting to know people here, let me know.

Welcome, all new members! Best way to get to know folks is to just dive right in! The water's nice and murky, and we just restocked the piranhas (which are dee-licious!). Find a thread that piques your interest, and post away! Also, we're coming up on the UMA's 10th anniversary soon, so you've all picked a great time to join.
