Audrey. New gal. Joined the forum on my lunch break the other day. Loves me some monsters. So much that I've got the Bride & Frankie tattooed on my ribcage. 33, from Ol' Wisco. No, I don't like the Packers, or any sports. Unless it's hockey and people rip off their uniforms so they can bleed, fugghedeboudit.

This is the lamest introduction I've ever made. I'm overtired.

MaximumRD

#2045
Hey I am Rob Daviau aka online MaximumRD age 44.
I am a Canadian originally form Toronto but for the past 10 years as resident of Kelowna B.C.

My primary hobby is classic videogame consoles and computers  (playing / using / collecting) making "Survival Horror" my favourite game genre but my very next love and passion is Horror, SciFi, Classic Universal Monsters, Movies, B-movies, 50's/60's/70's Cinema and TV movies, Hammer films and BBC Horror, Grindhouse, MST3K etc. Have always been absolutely fascinated by Horror form as early on as I can remember, I think my 2 earliest memories are Vincent Price in The House on Haunted Hill, I think my first "scare" was the scene in the original Return of the Fly where the woman found the locked doors containing the failed "experiments" and the arm cam out the little door for feeding the captives grabbing her wrist.

When most kids growing up were collecting comics / Mad / etc, I was more interested in Famous Monsters and several other "Warren Publications".

Well, I guess that is about it! Looking forward to meeting the community here!

Welcome paladin,  is your name taken from the tv show
Have gun will travel?  Just a thought great show.

Paladin

Thanks, Scorpio.

Yes, Paladin was a "gun for hire" Western TV show back in the early 1960's. He primarily worked alone. Have Gun, Will Travel was printed on his business card.
He is one of my favorite non- horror/ sci- fi characters of all time. Richard Boone was in the lead.
The show was also on radio for a short time in the 1940's.

Hi everyone, My name is Sean, I am 20 years old for eleven more days.
I came here in hopes to start a respectable monster collection and maybe make some friends along the journey.
I have been a Frankenstein fan ever since I was born, my favorite film when I was 6 was A&B meet Frankenstein but oddly enough I prefer the Karloff version better.
If you want to know more just ask.
