I always wanted to be an Archaeologist / Treasure Hunter.
Came from watching shows like Allan Quatermain, Buck Jones, and Indiana Jones.

Of course as any kid, I changed my mind down the road, and wanted to be a Pro-Wrestler.

Older.  I'm working on that one more everyday. ;)  Seriously...a teacher. Specifically, an English teacher. Didn't work out that way. I work in steel, and hate it. But it pays the bills better than teaching ever could have. :-\

That's the truth Anton, I love teaching, but not the salary.

What did I want to be?

- A detective as a kid (from watching/reading Batman, wassup Doc...lol)

- Cool as a teenager

- A teacher as an adult

Got the second.

Like teaching (God bless you guys), it's not a rent homerun; but it does feed the soul.

I think I always just wanted to be creating something, whether it was musical or artistic or anything else. I've mostly gotten to do just that for most of my working life. I feel blessed.

But there was a stretch when I wanted to be Dracula (seriously, when I was a very little guy)... he could stay up all night, never had to go to school, wore cool costumes (I was from a show biz family after all), drank blood, which I thought was ultra-bad.

Then there was the time I told my siblings I wanted to be a trash can at McDonald's. See, on the commercials they had then (very early 70's) the cans were characters, had cute faces and talked really funny, wore little bow ties, etc., PLUS they got to eat McDonald's every day (we certainly did not!)... that's the mind of a 4 year old for you.

I think there actually was a stretch in my teens when I pretty much was a McD's trash can, but not in the way I'd once hoped.
