Femen, Topless Women's Rights Group, Clashes With Georgian Embassy's Security Guard In Kiev


A topless demonstration in Ukraine got ugly outside the Georgian embassy when a security guard fought with half-naked women on Monday.

The shirtless ladies from the women's activist group FEMEN were part of a larger protest in Kiev criticizing the Georgian government for jailing three photographers accused of spying, the Guardian reported.

A security guard shoved FEMEN members and kicked a photographer taking their picture before a policemen separated them, as seen in a video posted on Animal New York.

It was a busy week for the women of FEMEN who just can't seem to keep their shirts on. Last week, the group splashed around in a Kiev fountain to draw attention to expected hot-water shortages during the Euro 2012 soccer tournament which will be held in Ukraine and Poland.

Wouldn't a house cat be domesticated rather than wild?  That Frounde guy (gal?) was slick, wasn't he (she?)...?   I wouldn't be suprised, though, that as humans have studied the habits of wild animals, that they have observed killing for sport---------ironically in the more highly developed wild animals.  I'm pretty certain orcas flip seals around for the hell of it------to the ultimate death of the seal-------without necessarily eating it.  Chimpanzees participate in gang activity that may not be based completely on territoriality.  I'm guessing that Frounde purposely said 'wild' to excuse domesticated animals that have been 'corrupted' by man to kill for sport----------cock fights, pit bulls, fox hunts, etc., but as you said---------------> what domesticated house cat gets TRAINED to bring things they've killed to their landlords?  Yet they do.

Since I have refused to let my cat read any of my NRA magazines, or care for hunting, I can not be held responsible for my cats delight in acting like sadists when it comes to other animals.  I certainly never went out, and showed them how to take down a rabbit.  The truth is, cats are the least domesticated of domestic animals, and they really don't act that much different from undomsticated feline species.

Josephine Smith, 'Vampire,' Attacks Florida Senior Citizen, Cops Say

"I am a vampire, I am going to eat you," was the last thing Josephine Smith allegedly said before she viciously assaulted a homeless senior citizen sleeping on the porch of a vacant Hooters, according to Florida police.Smith, 22, attacked 69-year-old Milton Ellis early Thursday morning, biting chunks of flesh from the victim's face, lips, and arms police said.
Ellis managed to escape and call 911, but not before the so-called vampire removed "the top layer of skin" on his arm. He later received stitches for his wounds.
Ellis had invited his soon-to-be attacker to join him at the abandoned restaurant while she waited for a relative from Pensacola to pick her up, according to the St. Petersburg Times.
"He was staying near an overhang near the vacant Hooter's restaurant so he thought it might be a good place for her to stay," Mike Puetz of the St. Petersburg Police Department said.
Smith told authorities that she had no recollection of the attack and could not explain why she was naked and covered in blood, according to local 13-News.
Smith is charged with felony aggravated battery on an elderly person, and is currently being held at the Pinellas County Jail on $50,000 bond.

I rarely watch the tv news, but I walked right in on the footage of those beautiful "wild" creatures that had to be put down today in Zanesville, Ohio.  I almost posted this on the Cemetary Wall, but it seemed inappropriate.  I just felt so sickened and sad by the sight of those Bengel tigers and lions lying on the ground in an Ohio USA,  "sanctuary". I am not an animal expert, but I just know that it looked "wrong" when I saw the aftermath of the ordeal. I feel like we lost some amazing creatures, and there was nothing anyone could do to change the outcome of the day.  I am pretty ignorant about laws and permits concerning wild animal sanctuaries. And I know in my heart that the person that owned this place probably had the animals' best interests in mind.  (I hope).  Anyway, I just feel a sense of loss and I wonder how these animals came to be in that place. The police and animal control had NO choice, they had to protect us humans, but I feel almost guilty about that. R.I.P.- Beautiful animals of the Earth
