What type of "extras", if any, are on the Blu-Ray?
Besides some extended and alternate scenes, they have feature commentary.

I thought the movie was a big hit. I guess this forum gives me a misleading perspective at times.

Renfield had a budget of $65 million and needed $162.5 million at the box office to be considered successful.  Its domestic opening was $8,026475 which is very low.  Domestically it earned $17,152,625; Internationally $9,475,885; Worldwide $26,628,510.  That's a loss of approximately $38,371,490.  Not sure what the DVD sales were or the streaming statistics.

The movie was kind of presented as a violent romantic comedy in the trailer, which isn't that far off from what it was, and I don't think it appealed that much to the horror fanbase as a result.  I will say I only really went to see it to watch Nicholas Cages next step in going insane on film.  I didn't like the eating bugs giving him power angle and I also don't really care for Awkwafina (which is great because she's been f'ing inescapable).  But I was intrigued by the ties to the original with the flashback footage and stuff.  And it's fine.  But I don't think I'm gonna buy it.

Though horror comedy isn't really my thing, I kinda liked this thing. I loved the opening sequence and how it faithfully recreated the original Dracula. My girlfriend dragged me to see it, and I'm glad I did.

Hey, Mord good to see an old friend in here! Hope you're well. Yeah, I liked it too. I wasn't sure what to expect but I ended up enjoying it. Not a classic by any means, but it's pretty entertaining

Hi, Adam, I've been battling certain people on-line recently. I thought I'd take a walk dow the old neighborhood. Looks like you guys have survived without me.
Yeah, I was surprised at liking Renfield. I guess the characters were so likable and the visuals fairly accurate that I could forgive some over-the-top goofiness.

I recently saw this movie and was kinda surprised that it was decent. By no means super great or anything, but decent.

One thing I notice people say a lot is about how they very faithfully recreated the original movie scenes. Well uhh, thing about that is they actually just edited the two actors into the old movie. That's why it looks so accurate. Not complaining or anything, just saying cause not enough people seem to notice.

Well, I thought she was ok, plus she didn't break into song. We were spared something as gawd awful as "The Scuttlebutt Rap.
