Watched the Irishman.  I really missed Joe Pesci.

I'm surprised Scorsese had difficulties getting the movie produced.  He's Scorsese.  You would think any studio would say 'Why thank you, Martin, we'd love to.'

I completely agree. Sadly, the world around us has changed. Not that many people are willing to watch a 3 and a half hour movie without the latest Hollywood pretty face and mindless hip hop soundtrack.

The money people are afraid audiences won't buy tickets to see "senior citizens" in films.  So few of them look like comic book super heroes.

The 3 hour argument certainly has its points.  I still haven't watched wolf of Wall Street because I don't have the time or I don't want to give up 90% of the time I do have before blessed sleep.

Mord

Set aside the time. The Wolf of Wall Street is well worth. Do it for the nude scenes with Margot Robbie.

Heat (1995) -
I love crime movies. The early restaurant scene was shot at Johnnies Burgers (now a Bob's Big Boy) about a mile from my home. Many great movies had a scene or two there. We love to eat there and reminisce about our favorite movies that featured the restaurant (like Robert Altman's "Short Cuts").

Great f_^%#*g movie!!!!

 Once Upon a Time in....Hollywood (2019) -
Just got the 4K disc....fatastic. seven deleted scenes and great docs. My fave Tarantino  film aside from Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown. Picture and sound quality is beyond belief.

The Special edition is super rad.

You have that? Are you talking about the one with the record, poster, and Mad magazine parody? Man, I wanted that one.

Don't know what those last two are, Mars, but they sure sound appealing.
