Wow.  Got my Valentine Frankie & Bride today (Saturday) - was due in next Tues.  That's fast!

Very nice.  the box really isn't 100% heart shaped - only the front is heart shaped - more like a larger cardboard heart shaped front with a smaller square box on an angle glued on behind it. The figures are inside  in a clear plastic tray that can slide out of the box.

A nice Valentine's Day gift for a Monster Kid.

What's not to love??

Not to beat a dead horsey or anything: but has anyone heard anything about their Werewolf of London seeing the light of day?

Last I spoke to Cortlandt, he was checking back with Super 7. I spoke with Brian Flynn at NYCC in October and he told me it was still coming and close to being on the ship. It's almost 4 months later, so hopefully he wasn't just trying to shoo me away.

On the ship...as in, the figures are manufactured, packaged and being shipped from the manufacturer (China??) to Super 7 in the good old USA for them to sell the figure to us?

Am I the only one that is not a fan of the Super 7 toys?  I bought the original run of monster figures when they first came out, but now it seems like they are flooding the market.  I'm also not liking the vibrant colors.  To each their own, Super 7 is just not mine.

Super 7 would be a lot more appealing if they kept their Universal Monster output high and/or released playsets and/or supporting characters like Henry, Maleva, Renfield, Van Helsing, etc.

That being said, I was a big fan of Super 7 when they first started the line, but they have really kind of dropped the ball lately.  I hope they pick it back up.  I want a set of support characters.  Heck, even like a six pack boxed set featuring Henry, Maleva, Pretorious, Van Helsing, Renfield, and Gwen would be great.  A Creature boxed set featuring Kay and Dr. Reed could stand on its own.  These would sell, and they wouldn't even need to worry about actor estates if they ditched card art.  Diamond made it work with the MiniMates.  Super 7 can make it work.

Heck, I'd take an Uno O'Connor as Minnie figure.

That's what I took from it, yes.

I'm more a fan of their card art, at least for the Universal monster figures.

I don't dig all the various plastic/paint schemes of the same stuff. A couple is fun but those outweigh the standard colors of the characters. I'd shell out $30 for that "Werewolf of London" figure, though I'd be sore it was so much.

But for rainbow assorted variations, where they never complete a standard set of Drac/Frank/Wolf/Mums/Bride/Creatch/Invisible (and/or Phantom)... nah.

That's good news.  Now bring on the supporting characters... or a playset... or something.

Guess they worked things out with Courtland Hull.  I always order direct from Suoer 7.  This could be the last Universal Monsters figure, unless they decide on doing some of the lesser figures.  Paula the ape girl,  anyone?

I would buy Paula.

OK - 1 vote for Paula The Ape Woman.  Let's see...Dr. Frankenstein, Dr. Pretorius, Fritz, Minnie, Dr. Mirakle, Man Made Monster, A Caradine Dracula, A Strange Frankenstein, Curucu...OK, maybe not that one!
