Wow! Is that a Queen Mera statuette on the lower right? If so, do you have any dedicated closeup pics of the figure?

Do you mean this? Looks like a woman getting into/out of a (She?) Creature costume.

Yeah, that's the one! She sure looks like Mera without the mask:

Much larger pic of the collection.

How does your own Creature collection compare with Paul's?

I put up pics in the collections thread, a couple of years ago (maybe longer). Lots of new stuff since then. If I ever get my Creature room done, I'll do a video. Ain't got no squirt gun or Mystery Game, though. :(  Paul also has a lot of garage kits. The only model kits I have are the 2 Aurora ones.

Well those Facebook links lasted less than a week or no longer than usual.

The legendary Norm Saunders painted all the Topps Ugly Stickers from 1965:

Twelve of these Ugly Stickers were Basil Wolverton designs while the remaining 32 images found on the stickers were designed by either Wally Wood or Norm Saunders. The image used for the twelve card puzzle below was one of the Norm Saunders' designs:

The wrapper also featured one of Saunders' designs:

Topps followed up the Ugly Stickers with this Teacher's Pet release of jigglers in 1967:

The success that Topps had with Teacher's Pets prompted L.M. Becker (Spooky Surprise grab bags) to release this copycat Horror Pets product:

I've wanted one of these Freddy dolls since they came out in '89 and lucked upon a mint loose one at Monster Mania this past weekend. The pull-string still works quite well too.

Cool.

What does he say?

My bird brain has forgotten already, I'll have to check again when I get home.  ;D

So, it must not have been, "Hi, I'm Chatty Freddie, and I'm going to kill you!"

The Asunaru set of "The Impossibles" (from the Hanna-Barbara cartoon, "Frankenstein Jr. and The Impossibles", one of my Saturday morning favourites). Not sure why the design uses a "faded out" effect on the stickers of their superhero guises, but I really love the concept of the display.
