They really are great! People who have never checked out any of these Eurohorrors dont know what they're missing. Some really wonderful stuff came out of Europe during that era

Agree 100%!

It seems that European horror was behind the mainstream by a few years and when Gothic Eurohorror struck in the '60s through the '70s the other countries' gothic horror offerings were starting to wind down and would stall in the '70s. Eurohorror from that period is energized with envelope pushing freshness and imagination for that time. Even fan fave Hammer would grind to a halt in the mid '70s, just as Naschy, Ossorio, Franco, Rollin, and several others were involved in some exciting work which still provides enjoyment for the fans of European Horror Cinema.
