Jonny Quest (1964/1965) is the best cartoon in history IMO. It featured many cool monsters in it's 26 episode single season.





While extremely popular, it was deemed too expensive to continue to produce by Hanna-Barbera because of the groundbreaking quality of the animation for an ongoing series. Not only was the series itself excellent, the theme song is one of the best in the history of television.
