I may have some b/w stills from that film, The Vampire Lovers.
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Anton's favorite Hammer horror film! You've just made his day (and mine).
Really? I thought Anton wasn't fond of films with too much bare skin. I know you and I like them but he seems more conservative in his entertainment choices.

Ahem...I was employing a little something called sarcasm. Sorry.

My sarcasm detector was tingling but I don't know Anton well enough to be sure (thought it might have been the burrito I had for lunch *burp*).

Here's The Big G belching up some nuclear damage:

That may be the blurbiest poster I've ever seen. Cool though.  8)

Apparently a UK poster.

Yes, that poster... of course, since the text doesn't overlap the images, it'd be easy enough to chop it oup around a DVD label.  And Sydney Tafler, my my. - as the good doctor.   The poster has this dilemma of appealing to lads with either monsters or babes, and we can see which one is the largest image.  Alas, the poster is still a bunch of guys and a rocket ship!  But that timeless "See the dance no man has seen!" promise/threat should have pulled in a lot of 12-year-olds.

The movie sure wouldn't!

On the more popular poster, the monster and the woman losing her shoulder strap regains front-and-center billing.

Fortunately for Earth, that errant shoulder-strap didn't cause risk OUR planet this time, like most beauties' poor choice in apparel does.   We surely escaped planetary doom on this instance!

Huh? Really? That would be strange.

Methinks shoulder straps should always be errant.

NO NO NO!  Hep, have you not flickered thru The Wrong Side Of Art site and realized how many times Earth has been endangered by an errant shoulder strap?!!  There must be HUNDREDS of episodes where Your Planet & Mine are barely saved.

Don't you realize we would be MUCH SAFER if ONLY those poster babes would have been more fully clothed?!!

In the EARTH VS. THE SPIDER, we have a perfect example of some babe, lounging around on a downtown sidewalk next to a crack in the planet's surface.  With both shoulder straps off...

"I don't want tan lines!"

Yeah... right, babe.  No tan lines but what about those giant spider claw marks up and down your back?  Who do you think you are, lady - some Jimi Hendrix poster gal?  I mean - REALLY-!!  There she is, in crosstown traffic, too... sheesh...

(She was soooo lucky that cop happened to be strolling around with this tommy-gun... whew!)

You're making the mistake of most weekend warrior researchers though. You're conflating co-incidence with causality. In this case you're assuming that errant shoulder straps are causing (by perhaps luring?) these menaces endangering the Earth.

But how do you know that the cause-and-effect relationship isn't in the other direction? Perhaps the Earth endangering menaces are causing the errant shoulder straps. Perhaps this is all part of said menaces plans to endanger the Earth. Perhaps their underlying scheme is to sap earthlings' will to resist by loosening all shoulder straps.

Moreover consider that all these Earth endangering plots have ultimately failed. Has it occurred to you that it may be precisely these errant shoulder straps that have saved the earth? Could it not be that the hint of the weaponry yet to be unholstered and unleashed defused the threats to Earth's survival?

More dispassionate hands-on scientific research needs to be done to answer these questions.
