The Monster Card Museum site still has them listed relatively cheaply:

:-\
Those prices are a joke. I've been in the trenches scratching and clawing for these things for the last few months. I've sent emails to several card dealers in UK in addition to making several purchases over there. These seem to be actual current values in NM condition.

Hammer Horror Series 1 (Cornerstone, 1995): Base Set: $45, Promos/Chase Cards: $3-$15

Hammer Horror Series 2 (Cornerstone, 1996): Base Set: $10-$20, Promos/Chase Cards: $2-$10, Autograph Cards (6): $50-$150 (this base set is still common)

Hammer Horror 40th Anniversary Tribute Set (CMA, 1997): 9 Card Set: $20-$25

Hammer Horror Entombed (CMA, 2000): Nearly impossible to find. A few chase cards and commons pop up but that's it. Base Set Estimate: $50-$100, Chase Cards/Promos: $5-$15, Autograph Cards: $50-$100

Hammer Horror Behind The Screams (RiverWye, 2004): Nearly impossible to find. Base Set Estimate: $50-$100, Promos/Chase Cards: $5-$20

Hammer Horror Series 1 (Strictly Ink, 2008): Base Set: $10, Promos/Chase Cards: $3-$5, Autograph Cards (10): $15-$75, Sketch Cards: $10-$150

Hammer Horror Series 2 (Strictly Ink, 2010): Base Set: $10, Promos/Chase Cards: $3-$5, Autograph Cards (13): $10-$75, Sketch Cards: $10-$150

I'm still trying to find base sets for Entombed and Behind The Screams. Some greed monger on evilBay has a sealed boxed set of Behind The Screams he wants around $300 for. I ignore that BS, but I would give $100 for the sealed boxed set.

Pity none of the more recent Hammer Horror sets was issued by one of the traditional established card companies, e.g. Topps, Fleer, Donruss, Leaf, Philly Gum, Pacific, Score, Upper Deck, Skybox, etc. Which of these sets is your favourite, and why?
I don't think the Hammer Horror cards would be of such excellent quality if a US company had produced them. I regard Topps and some of the others highly mainly for sentimental reasons, but the Hammer cards seem to be a cut above the average offerings from the companies you name. Maybe those UK companies put a little extra into them since Hammer are the poster child for filling British coffers. Of course poor distribution and low print runs are precisely the reasons you can't find Hammer Horror Entombed or Behind The Screams today, and they would probably be cheap and plentiful if a US company had produced them.

As to my favorite Hammer Horror set...they all are. They are similarly excellent even though they were produced by different UK companies, right down to having similar logos. It's really like one tremendously large set of which certain parts are extremely scarce and expensive.

Don't your creature items ever get lonely removed from all their fellow Universal monsters?

I was thinking the exact same thing. My Creatures look forward to their little tea parties with Dracula and the Mole People.

The Creature has never even met any of those people. He lives in the Amazon and they all live in Europe and the Middle East. The Creature has been to Florida, but I don't think he saw any of them, there.

What? Fantasy? And here I thought it was like one of those sketches of court room scenes we see printed in newspapers.  :o

So all in all you're telling me that there's been a sordid plot here on UMA all along to deceive the membership of this board with respect to the activities and interactions of the Universal monsters?

Oh, I'm not saying that people don't put their Creature toys with their other monster toys! I'm just saying in real life . . .

Scans of my Creature autograph cards of both Ben Chapman and Ricou Browning. I posted the Chapman card previously but never took it out of the top loader and the scan didn't turn out well. Since I just picked up the Browning card I decided to post both.

Wowie, zowie!!!!!!!!! These are fantastic! Why does the Ben Chapman card say "Death Edition"? Did he sign these right before he died.

No. I guess they just named the Autograph Card supplementary set "Death Edition" in keeping with the whole monster/horror oriented hoopla...you know, "Terror Cards...Death Edition". It was just a very unpleasant coincidence that Ben passed since he signed that card.
