MONKEYBONE!! I love this show! most hate it if they even remember it.

and  one of my favorite movies of all time --- Pee Wee's Big adventure. I know there is a following, but i have yet to meet anyone in person who likes it besides me and my kids.

I don't know anyone but me who will admit to liking "Weekend At Bernie's".

Gotta be more than just you . . . They made a sequel.

Which is more than will happen for John Carter or The Lone Ranger. ::)

I guess I'm not "most", because I really liked the film.  The only Brendan Fraser film I can recall that I loathed, was "Dudley Doright".
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Popeye
Showgirls
Eyes Wide Shut
and more recently: John Carter.

Groovy, someone besides myself who loved the Popeye movie.  Thought the casting was perfect, especially with Olive Oyl.

The casting was great - Shelley Duvall was spot on.

The music was awful.  It should have had a 1930's feel to it.  There was not one tune that I went away whistling to myself afterword.  Did any of them stick in your mind? A good musical should leave you wanting to hear at least one or two songs over and over again.

The musical numbers make me cringe some, but i still enjoy watching it periodically.

Funny. I agree the music was not very good. However, almost all of them get stuck in my head. That movie is Earworm Central!!
I don't necessarily want to hear the songs again--they just get stuck.
Damn! There it goes again . . .

I Yam What I Yam!!!!

"I'm mean,  I'm mean,  I'm mean, you know what I mean!" has always stuck in my head and I haven't seen the film since its theatrical release!  I also somewhat recall a horrible-out of tune song sung by Shelley Duvall, not really the lyrics but the melody!

Fester

Lucky you I get both lyrics and melody. :o

There needs to be a special place down below for song writers like Harry Nilsson. ::)

The problem wasn't the casting, or even the foorgetable musical numbers.  The problem is Jules Feifer's ponderous story about a son looking for the father he never knew.  Segar and (later) Fleisher did it much better with the "Goon Island" storyline, where Popeye finds his father.  They honestly should have worked with one of Segar's stories, or the Fleisher films (Such as "Aladin" or Sinbad") and would have had a far more entertaining film.

Love the "Goon Island" toon.  Probably my favorite Popeye story.  Wish they had used it.
