Toy Ranch

I wanted to start a project, putting together a list of appearances Don Post masks have made in TV and the Movies, with screen grabs and info.  Here are a couple to get thing started.

The Monkees
Monsterous Monkee Mash
Original Air Date 1/22/1968
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0650696/

This episode included a Dracula, Wolf Man, Mummy, and Frankenstein, but only the Wolf Man used a Don Post mask.

A second Post Wolf Man was cut and the bottom portion was used.

Both the full mask and partial appeared at the same time.

There were also a couple brief appearances by The Mummy. I thought at first this was also a Post mask, since it is only seen from the front briefly, but this screen grab shows it was not.

Dracula and Frankenstein were makeup monsters.

Currently, the episode is available to watch in full on YouTube.

Lost In Space
A Visit To Hades
Original Air Date: 12/7/1966

This episode featured a Metaluna Mutant mask, with Creature From The Black Lagoon claws and feet.

The episode is available online on Hulu.

Gillfan

I recall there being an episode of the Hardy Boys with don post masks. Also, isn't there an episode of Gilligan's Isle where he has a 1/2 Frankenstein mask? The Brady buch has a few masks in it as well.

Great idea Bobby!

I don't have the skill to get screen caps but there is this episode of McHale's Navy with the calendar Phantom, Wolf Man, Hunchback, Mummy, and Creature with hands:

Certainly one of the more famous DPS appearances.

And the H3 masks

frankenstein73

The Perfect Host with David Hyde Pierce had several DP masks in it when he opens the cupboard and grabs the creature mask and sticks it on the other dudes head. I dont know how to grab the shots if someone else can do it. It was a pretty good show too!
Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

Is the Mummy wearing Klaris' outfit?!

I believe those are the actual 66 Calendar masks.

Haunted hearse

I understand "The Munsters Revenge" included Don Posts Masks.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

I was watching a 1983 episode of "TJ Hooker" yesterday.
Four masked robbers hold up a liquor store, one of them
disguised as DP's Sinestre`

Another chose to wear a Savage Eye Dracula. My guess is they probably
made off with just enough to cover the cost of those expensive masks!

I don't recognize the ones worn by their accomplices. If you do, let us know.

Super cool!
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

I FREAKIN' knew Sinistre was up to NO GOOD! First he pretends to be the DON POST PHANTOM and THEN he pretends to be a convenience store customer BUT he's a thief. And hangs out with Pirates, Witch's and Savage Eye Dracula. Clearly a lost cause!
