The Ghost Train (1941)

Lots of inanity, some insanity, a bit of horror but no real ghosts. Somewhat disappointing overall.

DEAD OF NIGHT (1945) - Watched this for the first time last night and can't believe it escaped me my whole life.  What a great movie!  Easy to see its influence on future films and anthology stories. Excellent and truly enjoyable experience for this old horror fan.

SPECIES (1995) - I don't think this film has aged well, but Natasha Herstridge sure has. She's still gorgeous today. The early CGI used here looks really bad now, but Natasha makes it worth revisiting.

Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein [1948] - what can you say? This is everything anybody could ever want

It was the perfect way to close the classic horror era!  :)

I SEE YOU (2019) - I thought this film was pretty good.  Has a kind of M. Night feel to it. It's truly sad though to see what Helen Hunt looks like now.  Hadn't seen her in quite a while and expected her to look older, but whatever plastic surgery she had done absolutely destroyed her appearance.
