 Houses October Built (2014) -

I recommended this to Mars yesterday, and had to revisit it. Good "found footage" movie about a film crew trying to capture the most extreme Halloween haunts. They go way out of their way to capture the most creepy and dangerous ones they can. There's even a visit to a zombie-themed strip joint. Well, they wind up annoying some scary carnys and...you know. Creepy "Porcelain Girl" still gives me chills.

 Crawl (2019) -

I had to see this again. I loved it the first time, but had to struggle with a family with sh*thead kids (R movie, mind you). The second time was a bloody pleasure. If you love shark movies...SEE THIS.  It was refreshing to watch a modern film without one single rap song. Closing theme, "See You Later, Alligator". Classic. Oh, yeah, forgot to mention it's about killer gators during a devastating storm.

No sharks (see last sentence). The shark reference was about the style of the movie. It's like a methed-out version of "Jaws" with four legs. I should have said "nature gone wild" film. Very fast-paced and bloody. If you trust me, see it. If you don't....see it, anyway.
