The Hitcher (1986)  -Thirty years later and it still packs a punch. One of my favorite 80s thrillers.

I actually caught that for the first time last year. Great, creepy flick!

THE APE (1940) - Have always loved Boris in this low budget entry.

Also, various STAR TREK TOS, NIGHT GALLERY and TWILIGHT ZONE eps.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Damned good remake (I'll even forgive the track star zombies).

geezer butler

Chopping Mall (1986)

Friday the 13th part VI: Jason Lives (1986)

*F13th blueray looks great imo.

Monsters For Sale

This Is the End, 2013 - The Apocalypse as experienced in Hollywood.

Not what I was expecting.  There were a number of interesting parts to this film, but I didn't think they added up to a coherent whole.

(Maybe a better ride for fans of the young stars - but I didn't know them.)

Fast moving Zombies. In my opinion, much more menacing.
Only my opinion. (George A. R., don't shoot me)

We'll have to disagree on this. Slow zombies seem more dead, if that makes sense. You're more likely to let your guard down around them. Fast zombies (like World War Z) just seem too video-gamey for me.
