We'll have to disagree on this. Slow zombies seem more dead, if that makes sense. You're more likely to let your guard down around them. Fast zombies (like World War Z) just seem too video-gamey for me.

I can agree with that, gamey. World War Z was a Zombie fllm...unlike others. Bad.

It's a worthy follow up to the previous films and continues the establishing of a coherent timeline for this new Apes universe; it ends the first trilogy of films while setting the stage for  a whole new set of tales to be told. Great film all around.

Went to our 13th consecutive outing to BLOB-FEST in Phoenixville, PA yesterday with Number 3 son and only daughter.
Seeing THE BLOB (1958) at the Colonial Theater is always a joy.
It was paired with HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (1959) this year. The only other time I saw that on the big screen was way back in 1963 when I was 8. How wonderful to see the audience cheer and clap wildly when Vinnie's face and name first appear in the film. His legacy lives on!
