My daughter and I watched Train to Busan last night. It is a fantastic film, but at the end we were both emotionally beat up. I would never have thought that a zombie film could make me cry.

This film delivers!

And Then There Were None, 2015 - This Agatha Christie murder mystery has been done many times under this title and "Ten Little Indians".  Never having read the book, I didn't appreciate just how dark and sinister the original story was until I saw this BBC TV 3-part mini-series.  Filmed in partnership with Christies' grandson, it is supposed to follow the book much more closely than any of the previous adaptations.  Surely, it is the grimmest of the versions I have ever seen.  The final scene is a great surprise for someone who has only ever seen the story on the screen.

The mini-series takes a while to get going, the first installment being the slowest.  But after it gets rolling along, it plays out like a very engaging serial murderer/horror tale.  I quite liked it.  I think I will like it even better during a subsequent viewing.

Recommended.

I agree Mord. The first 3 are particularly good. After that you get diminishing returns. Still, I think the entire series is fun. I just picked up volumes 4-7 on blu-ray set.
