I really liked "Burying the Ex". How did you feel about it?

I liked it better on the 2nd viewing.  It really grew on me.

I find that about a lot of Joe Dante films.  He does mixes of horror/sci-fi and humor that leaves too many people cold.  They want their genres pure.  But if they would give them more of a chance, I think they would love his movies.  Always nice to see Dick Miller in another small role.  It is also good for this time of the year.  The action takes place on and around Halloween.

Ever seen "Very Bad Things"?  It has a solid ensemble cast and is a VERY dark comedy.  Talk about things going from bad to worse to f'ing awful!

I think the earliest (and mildest) unwanted body film I like is Hitchcock's "The Trouble With Harry".  It is a situation I enjoy seeing dealt with by various directors.

I really liked "Very Bad Things". I  try to imagine what I would do under similar circumstances.  I hope that I would handle things a little better than the hapless crew in the film (probably not).
