Well Mike,  it is what it is. 1920s German Cinema. I remember that the "first" Dr. Caligari DVD that I had featured an excerpt from it. That's how I heard of it. There is  a cut on YouTube. The best looking one has a score by P. William Emerson. I didn't care for that too well, but it's easily remedied.

It runs about 44 minutes. I think the original version was 88 minutes. FYI - it is not an easy film to follow. I don't know if that's because of the shortened running time or because it was always that way. I've never seen the full version of the film.

I love all of the Silent German Expressionist films, and I have never heard of this one. I'll be sure to check it out later tonight.

That's just for still photos (jpg, gif, etc.). You don't really need the hyperlink code. If you paste in a web address, it will link.

BTW, the "just add the web address to your post" only works for YouTube. Videos from other websites will need additional code.
