That Quatermass Experiment on Blu really does kick &$$. I'm so glad that film finally got a good release here in the US.

Since so many different companies own the rights to the Hammers it's a real pain to put together a good collection. I added The Nanny DVD just recently, and I still only have stuff like Creatures The World Forgot and Scars Of Dracula on discs that I burned off of old VHS tapes I made or bought 15-20 years ago. My Creatures disc is copied from a tape I made from Showtime of all things. It's really great to see some of those Hammers getting the Blu (and combo) treatment.

Caught it as well and then hung out for Them!
Me, too. Then stayed tuned for "The Wasp Woman," as well.

I loved Ben Mankiewicz's intro!

I need to set my alarm for 6AM on Monday for their Christopher Lee tribute. "The Mummy" is one of the few flicks they're showing that I don't have on DVD.
