Camel Spiders - AIP inspired crapfest about big spiders from the Middle East. Primitive effects (almost "Zanti Misfits" level). Still, I didn't really hate it.

I tried to watch the film.....okay, it was not totally bad.

Poltergeist (2015) Not as bad as I thought it would be although it brings nothing new to the table.

Did you watch the 2-D or 3-D version? I was mildly interested, but I've still got a lot on the plate right now.

Just watched Salems Lot for the first time in a while. Also have been on an Amicus kick. Watched "The House That Dripped Blood", "Asylum" and "Tales From The Crypt". All excellent movies.

Saw it in 2D. It was basically the same movie as the original with the main difference being the little psychic woman was replaced with a TV reality show ghost hunter character named Carrigan Burke. Having Sam Rockwell in the lead helped as he's always good.

Mord

Yeah, Rockwell's always solid. I might still go. I love the experience of watching horror films on the big screen. They usually don't match the feeling I got watching those '60s/'70s Hammer films at my local theater, but little does these days.
