The Hills Have Eyes (1977)

Awesome flick! I've seen this maybe a half dozen times and it still packs a punch.

ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Phantom Stranger

'The House On Haunted Hill' (1959)
-Vincent Price

Phantoms Review: My all time favorite Vincent Price film. Fun, cheesy,  atmospheric and surprisingly spooky. Damn near every haunted house cliche is used in this William Castle classic.  Perfect for a dark and stormy night.

Totally agree! I wish I knew how to post pictures. I have this incredible pic of me with Michael Berryman at Monsterpalooza. He looks almost the same as he does on that DVD cover. Actually, if it weren't for my facial hair, you could never tell the two of us apart.

re-watched "Vampyres". Love those two girls (Marianne Morris & Anulka). Ii I ever have a daughter, I will name her either Anulka or Yutte.

Yeah, I think I'll go with YUTTE (here's another chance to post a Yutte pic).

Since you're currently pic posting challenged I'll post for ya, I got your back, dude.

Two things (not those  >:D), I sure hope Yutte didn't get a chest cold when these pics were made...and I would have loved to be in Pippa Steel's place in the shenanigans that followed this pic!  ;)

The Vampire Lovers (1970)

The obvious appeal of this film is the bevy of Hammer beauties which grace it, but it has much more going for it than that. Roy Ward Baker does a fine job from the director's chair, it is well written and shot, the sets are lavish, and the mood is very effective. Peter Cushing is excellent (as usual) for the small amount of screen time he gets. Ingrid Pitt turns in a splendid performance as the vampire seductress, Mircalla (Marcilla/Carmilla) Karnstein. I imagine this caused quite a pleasant stir at theaters (especially drive-ins) when it opened a few days before Halloween in 1970. Today it holds up as a great example of the gothic horror that made Hammer revered by fans the world over.
