Just watch Hammers "The Mummy" again today. Probably my fav Mummy movie and fav mummy (Kharis!). And after watching the "100 Years Of Horror" documentary I have a larger appreciation for Christopher Lees role.
Do you know where you are, Bartolome? I'll tell you where you are. You are about to enter Hell, Bartolome, HELL!...

The whole point of the plot twist is that Marie had created an imaginary serial killer to project her evil actions onto. It's all explained at the end with the security video among other things. I haven't heard of this all encompassing idea that the film's plot twist is considered "one of the top worst plot twists in movie history".  I enjoyed High Tension and found it tight and clever.

From the very first attacks though it should have been known it was Marie.  The father and mother both would have been screaming her name asking her what the hell she was doing but again if you look at it through Marie's eyes you can overlook such stuff.  I enjoyed the film all the way up until the end and then I just felt it was a cop out, they purposely show you things that two people couldn't possibly do at once, fighting each other, chasing (on foot and in vehicles) each other, being in two places at once; but again through Marie's eyes that is all possible.

The whole film is lazily set up for the twist ending, there is no, "Oh now that I watch it again I see the clues.", because there aren't any.  That isn't very tight or clever in my book!  Films like Fight Club, The Sixth Sense, The Others, Momento, Shutter Island, 1408, The Ward, Skeleton Key (and plenty of others) are examples of the twist ending done right and I didn't even necessarily like all of those either.

That's the whole point- it's all through the eyes of a crazy murderer. We totally disagree. Now, let's move on.

I don't disagree at all (well I guess except for the tight and clever part), at least not until I rewatch the movie.

Here's another great example of the twist ending done right (specifically the "they were the killer the whole time" twist), a little film called Psycho.

You mean that Vince Vaughn film? Dude, that sucked. It reminded me of this other film I can't quite recall now.
