Day of the Dead (2008) - Not bad as far as direct-to-dvd zombie movies go.  Nothing to do with the original Romero series or the remake of DAWN.  Plenty of stupid mistakes to laugh at, but also relatively believable characters.

Oddly enough, I just finished watching this myself just a few minutes ago..
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Unknown Primate

" Perhaps he dimly wonders why, there is no other such as I. "

"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

I watched "The Climax" this morning. It was anti-climatic ;)

- The Dark Knight

I believe I am in the minority here, but I did not care for this one. I thought Batman Begins was a better thought out story and the supporting actors did a much better job in making their roles believable.  (No need to discuss Christian Bale's acting here, because he has yet to do this, IMO).  I understand why many thought Ledger was great in his role, and I do believe Hollywood lost a great actor with his passing, but I found him just above average as The Joker.  Not a popular opinion, but just the way I saw it.  I still find the Animated Series still the best Batman to be put on a screen, especially story wise.

You may be in the minority, but you're not alone. Like a lot of "big" movies, I feel it just gets crushed under its own weight--a lot of "stuff" but no momentum in the story. The part that engaged me the most was the subplot with the ferries--and it didn't really involve any of the main characters. Walking out, I thought "I know I watched Batman go to Hong Kong two hours ago, but damned if I can remember why."
