Santo Vs. The Vampire Women

Had been putting off watching the Mexican horrors for a while, but finally got around to one the other day, that being Santo Vs. The Vampire Women. Must say that I was pleasantly surprised by how good the film was and looked. Will definitely be watching some more of these soon.

Night of the Demon

One of the best movies ever made.  Period.

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Terror is a Man(1959)~This is a reworking, what the kiddies are calling a "reboot", of The Island of Doctor Moreau, though for me it had more shades of Frankenstein.  I thought it was a pretty decent watch, though they don't give the monster much to do until the last 10min or so with most of the movies time focusing on the morality of it all and the nature of who really is the "animal" or at the very least acts more like one.  Very reminiscent of a Universal horror/sci-fi flick of the 1950's and as mentioned by MDG a few days ago you can watch it on Hulu!

Love the gas station scene.  Cue it up to the 2:00 mark.  I love when the dummy goes flying in the garage. ;D

Many of the B&W Mexican horror movies of that period look very nice--good sets and cinematography.
