Tucker and Dale vs. Evil.  We just bought a HDTV and this is the first official blue ray we watched on it.  Had seen the movie in the theaters but a friend hadn't seen it.  Still hilarious after all these months.

Super 8.  Very Spielberg (since it was produced by him.  But it was also directed by Abrams.  Has more of a Spielberg feel with the kids and good feeling all around.  I liked this one better than ET.

Phantom Stranger

"The Woman In Black" (2012)
                             -Daniel Radcliffe

Plot: IMDB
A young lawyer travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman is terrorizing the locals.

Phantom's Review:  This is a terrific, old fashioned ghost story. Instead of the sledge hammer shocks and gore that most modern day horror films go for, this film opts for a slow build up of suspense. This film has excellent atmosphere and a couple of good scares. Daniel Radcliffe does a great job as the young lawyer  If you like classic style ghost stories, I think you'll like this film, I know I did.

- Dr. Blood's Coffin on Count Gore

The ending made up for most of the movie. Hazel Court helped as well.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."
