I believe that is actually Lenore's corpse from 1963's The Raven.

Well, I knew it wasn't "Dracula's Daughter".  ;D

Star Trek movie aliens jigsaw puzzle by Ian McLean, on Flickr

I love this jigsaw puzzle of "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" aliens! Top row: Arcturian in the cargo bay, Ilia the Deltan (played by Persil Khambatta), Rigellian Attendant in San Francisco. Bottom row: Rhaandarite bridge ensign (played by Billy Van Zandt), Saurian on the rec deck, female Andorian ambassador in San Francisco.

I bought this puzzle at a great price because there was a small split in the box and the huckster couldn't guarantee if all of the pieces were present. When I put it together, I had to carefully rub the whole puzzle with a soft cloth, because it had a very waxy coating, and tiny fibres from the cardboard box had dulled the finish. Luckily, it came up beautifully. I keep it in a large "clip frame" on the wall.

During the Covid lockdowns, my cartoonist pal, Brett Bower, created this:

As a kid in the 80's/90's in the US, I had a horizontal puzzle that came in a box. I don't think it was officially licensed but it had the Creature, Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula and I think the Wolf Man? I know there were four monsters, pictured outside in some spooky scenery with likely a castle in the background.

It was probably about 50 pieces or less and the image looked painted because I remember how neat the brush strokes looked. I keep searching online for it but so far have gotten nowhere.

Granted, this isn't a puzzle, but what you are describing almost sounds like the American Publishing Stick & Lift or the Monster Madness game.

When times are dark, don't consider art to be merely a distraction; rather, think of it as a lifeline-  Neil Gaiman paraphrase.

That's not it but it looks awfully damn close!

The Creature was facing more forward than in this image... however I have to wonder if whoever made this also did the puzzle that I was recalling. Unsure if it was officially licensed but this was before there would've been a "UM" logo on it, so who knows.

Thanks for that picture, though! That set is super cool!

Saw this unlicensed Frankenstein puzzle on Walmart's site:

Pretty box.  Would be OK for a young kid you are trying to get into monsters.

They also have "Bigfoot" and "Sasquatch" puzzles.

YES! That's the one! Man, do I wish I still had that.

Thank you, it's so nice to see one again after all these years.
