I wrote the lawyer off after the third episode, I'm not sure if I want to change that or not. Maybe have his brother come back for revenge? Or maybe he regenerates and we kill him off multiple times :P either way, we only refer to him as the lawyer or attorney.

Wrote the lawyer out huh?   What happened?  Did he get killed running after an ambulance? ;D

If you do bring him back, he should be brought back as a vampire, so he can truly be a blood-sucking lawyer.

Bit of an update, the first four episodes are now written, minus our edits, so progress is coming along really nicely. We decided to keep the lawyer around, so he will be a recurring character as long as we can figure out something funny for him to do. Now we just need to finish writing the last half of the episodes, make up some character, set, and prop designs, and come up with a theme song :P The last part is actually the part that is stumping us the most. Go figure lol

I've always thought Greig's In the Hall of the Mountian King a bit creepy.

We want to have an original theme. You would think with my family's musical background I could do it with ease, but that doesn't seem to be the case lol

Figured I would show off the makeup test without the wig...

And that's a bad thing? :D

Makeup looks pretty good, but will the shading be too subtle for video?

I am going on record to say that I don't care for the mustache, but the rest looks good.  Maybe the wig will make the mustache look less frightening.   ;D  Other than that, good work!  Like Fester said, I am sure you will get the shading levels right after a few tests.

I'm planning on just having my regular facial hair, so the mustache will be gone. We are filming in HD, so shading should be fine once we start our tests.

Will do for sure!

The theme is still stumping me, but I do have an opening line for right before the song starts:

"Recorded in front of a dead studio audience, it's Dr. Blasko's Laboratory of Horror!"

Thought maybe you guys would like this. This video was made in April, as a test run/welcome for our crew members. As i said before, nothing in it is final, but just rather a test run with the makeup and voice. Everything was improv, but I think it was pretty funny, so I figured I would share.

Is there a way you could change that up for each episode? One could be "dead studio audience," another could be "captive studio audience," then "sedated studio audience," "studio audience of zombies," etc. Then, at the end of each episode, you could have a credit that reads, "No animals were harmed or killed in the making of this show. Dozens of humans were needlessly slaughtered, however."

Ha, I like that :) We will definitely consider it.
