I just saw a repro not too long ago go for almost 500.00 bucks on there. Maybe the repro's were limited?? Man this is an old post, suprised to see it brought back up.

I cannot comprehend $500...even $300...on a recent resin copy and a xeroxed box, no matter how hard I try.

frankenstein73 i understand the feeling. I love monster stuff but feel like most of it is too expensive. And that's a real bummer especially when your really into it. Just like the Glenn Strange candy bucket I've wanted one real bad for a while and can't manage to get a grasp on one or really see them for sale.

In vintage Monster collecting, patience is a virtue. Believe it or not, in general, the stuff was harder to find 20-30 years ago than it is become since the advent of ebay and the internet.

That's too expensive for a reproduction piece.  I paid $400  for an original bike buddy and feel that I got a great deal. And if I could find a Frankenstein candy bucket for that much id pay it too. Certain monster items are worth spending the money on imo. Reproduction items are not worth much to me.

Patients is a virtue. It took me 17 years to find a complete 79 kenner ALien but got a decent deal. Now if I could only find a box for it?lol!  YA repo monster stuff isn't worth much to me either but i do like it for the cool factor. All my models are repos but were fun to build. One question guys is there a certain period of time you have to wait to be able to get your pic on your profile? I've been trying to load a avatar for ever and it just won't come up.

That's awesome. I can only hope to get some of these knocked off my list. Besides the Marx Mechanical Frankenstein and Walking Frankenstein these are my grail items.

That's a good question. I have not once seen a pic of the other ones. I try to look every now and then. There was supposed to be a wolfman and a shrunken head also.
