QuoteFishing is a great excuse to get away and do nothing all day.

Same to be said about antiquing and garage sale-in'

Fester

Remember the ancient proverb:

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day. ::)

Somehow, I just can't imagine our Missdead looking like that.

More like: Pretty babe with great smile and pink bangs wearing black, sitting in a director's chair, surrounded by strategically placed tiki torches.   Slayer (the rare album "Yer Bleedin' Heart: Slayer's tribute to Hank Williams" of course) blasting on the speakers of an immaculately restored Cadillac hearse.  In the back off the hearse, a gas powered blender for making quart sized Margaritas--or even better--absinthe smoothies!

Fishing?  Who the 'ell wants to go fishing?

I can totally see this.

slayer , hank williams , hearse , tiki torches,  & me , in a directors chair. . !!! Yessssss!!! ;D

mmmm.. margaritas and absinthe smoothies. .

dl...that is such a great picture! I had the same helmet even though I wasn't much of a Steve Canyon comic strip reader.       Buddy

Dr. Madd

One of my favorite toy guns when I was a kid was something my older brother built from scrap wood. He made a wooden replica of an MP40 .

I've still got my "Model 99".

Here are a couple of plastic guns that popped out of my infinite pile of ephemera.

Aw...dl......that gold one is a sparkler in the red chamber isn't it? The other is a very nicely designed water gun I'll bet. I'm trying to hold myself back from starting a squirt gun collection, but the stuff is calling me.......... Last week on E-bay there was a '75 Star Trek Squirt Gun in the shape of the Enterprise, it was truly amazing, but I held off..........Buddy
