CreatureRevenge!!!  I've been coming back to your work quite abit.  Personally I think that the image is perfect the way it is.  Everything works well.  There's wonderful eye flow in a z pattern that concludes at the lettering.  This leaves my eyes free to drop to the very dramatic orange image below.  So in my humble opinion "perfect"  In the end it's your piece but I really quite like it!  The truck scene with the young John Connors is extremely well done and ties together well with the almost thoughtful look of Sarah.    Great stuff!!!


Here is my attempt at being original.  Inspired by an old Detective comic with Gene Colan artwork!  Plus I love the older Catwoman look.  Here is my tribute.

Thanks Gossamer! I appreciate it! The more I let it sit and come back to it the more I am okay with it... I am going to do it's companion piece and see how the 2 flow together before I do any reworking on this one. Also I LOVE the Catwoman piece! I agree, I have always liked the vintage designs on much of the Batman stuff, especially the villains. Great composition on it too, it reminds me of a lot of the classic pulp comic and mens adventure magazine art.

Thank you very much Creaturerevenge.  I struggle alot with artwork and I feel quite blessed when the work turns out fairly close to what I was after.  Inparticular anything remotely original.  So your comments are really appreciated.  I love the feel of  old pulp artwork and silver to bronze age comics so indeed that is the look I was trying to get.

As I said before I looked alot at your Terminator piece and it works very well in my eyes and cannot wait to see it's companion piece.  I know it's going to be excellent!!

My 21 year old daughter has been decorating her apartment with a Space Alien motif, so I made this little alien dude for her out of Sculpey.  It's around 7-8" tall, and is standing on a moonscape type of deal I made.  I got some great hugs out of her, so I guess she liked it!

I almost have a Bigfoot finished for someone, also!

Yes, it is!  They have several different kinds - softer, firmer, etc.  You have to bake it for it to harden.

That is beautiful. Big Batman fan, and of the early 80s Colan/Newton era which gets largely ignored. Perfect tribute to that version of Catwoman!!!

Hey everyone! I just finished up my Addams Family print for Spooky Empire's May-hem down in Orlando! They are doing an Addams Family Reunion with John Astin, Lisa Loring, and Felix Silla so I thought it would be appropriate to do corresponding piece for the show!
