TypH, this has a very nice quality about it. Appropriate to use watercolors for the Creech, eh? Nice job!!
thanks Illoman, it was my first ever watercolor piece so of course doing the creature was a must, seeing I also only have a select few of colours it worked out great haha ;D

Thanks Illoman, Monsterphile and Zombiehorror for the wonderful comments on Abby from Let Me In.  I think it is one of the best Vampire films I've seen in quite awhile.  And yes Zombiehorror I'm really looking forward to Dark Shadows.

Monsterphile I very much enjoyed the original Let the Right One In.  Both were incredibly well done and again the interaction between the young actors were the high points of the films.  Highly recommend both version but I tip alittle more in the Hammer direction.  Perhaps just old habits. LOL

TypH!  I want to see more!!!  Love this Creature piece to no end.  Just the over all feel is Murky and beautiful!   Love the purple/red highlight in his face.  Please keep going with the water colours

In preparation for the Mad Monster Party i have finally made time to finish some long sitting projects! So I finally put the finishing touches on this canvas Phantom piece that has been lingering around my studio for about 6 months now...

It's a big sucker coming in about 2 feet wide by 4 feet tall! It's acrylics on canvas. I also just got a shipment of t-shirts in featuring one of my Nosferatu pieces to sell at the Mad Monster Party this coming weekend here in Charlotte. The folks over at Robot Empire Screen Printing did a KILLER job on these!!!

Hope to see some of you at the show this weekend!

Creaturerevenge, I'm not sure which I like more the Awesome Chaney or the Stylin' Nosferatu T-shirt!!!  They are both just Killer pieces.

The Chaney is huge.  I would be so lost or a surface that large.  The hand is my favourite part of the piece (maybe cause I can't draw or paint them).  Again Stunning to say the least.  Great work, Sir!

Hey Guys and Gals!! Just feeling extremely productive for monster painting and finished this one on the weekend.  Trying to grab that Apocalyptic feel of the Ape saga.  Hope I got it.

Here it is sitting on the easel with the reference for the Abby painting still there. LOL Though the colours in the actual painting match the cropped image more.

Acrylics on water colour paper.

Illoman

Goss, you are a painting *machine*!!! And yes, I feel that apocalyptic vibe with that intense red and orange background. Another stellar painting!

TypH

here are two pieces I did up as a tribute to The Curse of Frankenstein. the first one is my second water colour piece which I think looks pretty damn cool but maybe that's just me.

second is the same image but just done with my prismacolor markers instead I plan on adding more characters from the movie into this one too.

this piece is a tribute to the one and only Mr Alfred Hitchcock.

awesome piece  Gossamer, that's a freaking killer looking ape painting you have a lot of talent my friend!

Thank You Creaturerevenge, TypH, and Illoman for the wonderful comments on my POTA piece.  Those comments mean the world to me!!!

I've wanted to do another Ape painting for awhile now and so I just got going on this one right away.  I was planning to do an ape soldier on horseback but couldn't come up with a reference.  But I tried to put the intensity intended for that painting into this.  Glad it came across alright.

TypH! Excellent Water colour Lee keep playing with them!!! You nailed Hitch perfectly.  I love that B & W Lee/Creature.  All three are great but that one in particular is just wonderful.  What medium is it?    Keep these coming.

Creaturesrevenge.  I absolutely love anything to do with Planet of the Apes.  Sigh... even the Tim Burton take on them.  When I was growing up sometimes this TV station would play the whole series throughout the week after school.  IT was awesome ... I was allowed to eat dinner in front of the television on these special occasions.  The station would pick a theme for the week and each day pick a different movie.  I recall Bruce Lee week and Godzilla week as well as Planet of the Apes.

Thanks for looking!
